End off your Bastille Day celebration with an adventure!
From hardcore routes to some family fun. Spectacular mountain biking on fresh alpine style trails.

Route Descriptions
65km – From Bells Lodge there is a steady climb to the summit with fantastic views across the Berg River Dam. A fast descent puts you onto technical single track along the banks of the dam. After a short jeep track the trail leads you up to waterfall covered cliffs, followed by a tricky descent. A short climb into Snake Alley – expect to get as the meandering trails lead you though many streams.
A technical descent through the Berg River and into the Valley of the Blushing Bride where sheer cliffs, waterfalls and proteas await. River crossings and steep ascents get you to the final summit with a breath taking view of the Franschhoek Valley . A last climb to a single track high above the Berg River Dam which leads you to your final (uneven and steep) decent to the finish line at Bells Lodge.
40km – From Bells Lodge you start with a climb to enjoy the views across the Berg River Dam. A fast descent through the Berg River and onto fresh single track along the banks of the dam. A bumpy section takes you up to waterfall covered cliffs, followed by a tricky descent with loose rocks and a narrow trail. A short climb to Snake Valley – you will get wet as you cruise though the streams. A last climb to a single track high above the Berg river Dam which leads you to your final (uneven and steep) decent to the finish line at Bells Lodge.
12km – From Bells Lodge heading north to your first climb up a bumpy gravel road. Reaching the Saddle you will enjoy the beautiful views across the Berg River Dam. A fast descent will follow toward the Dam wall, giving your legs a well deserved break, before sending riders back towards the finish line.
