Route Description

Nagle Dam is a rural setting that offers spectacular scenery. Runners doing the longer courses will circumnavigate the entire dam as well as explore parts of the river above the dam. The short course cuts through the middle of the dam using a tunnel and runs around the bottom half of the dam. Runners can expect to see some wildlife like Zebra and Impala in the Msinsi Reserve. The run promises a unique perspective of KZN that only those willing to explore of foot will rarely get to see. The longer courses have a river crossing and steep climb and should be attempted by fit and more experienced trail runners.
