DESCRIPTION:Easter Trail Fest – 16th April\, on the Bastille Routes! \nThe Berg River Dam Mountain Catchment has some of the most beautiful trail running scenery in Africa. \nWell known to runners for the ‘freeze-a-thon’ at Bastille Day in Wintery July\, \nThe new Easter Festival date will allow you to enjoy the best of the trails\, in warmer\, relaxed times. \nSTANDARD ENTRY: \n25km – R550 \n15km – R450 \n10km – R250 \n6km – R190 \n  \nSWIM – RUN:\nA full circumnavigation of The Berg Dam is around 18kms. With natural estuaries to cross\, and loads of single track. \n18km Swim Run:  \n4 x Runs = 14km and 4 x Swims = 3.5km  \nR750 pp  \nTeams and SOLO entries available \n  \nMILE SWIM:\nWith a 400m and an 800m. DESCRIPTION:Pure adventure is calling! \nRace Registration and Briefing: \nRace Reg and Briefing is at 6am\, Sunday 10th April\, on the beach at Camps Bay (Lawns at Police Station end).\nRace Start is soon after first light\, 7am-ish.\n\nStart Venue: Camps Bay Beach \nCut – Offs: 6pm \n\n\nImportant Info for planning your race: Wild weather may affect this start and venue.\n\nLeg 1 – Ocean and coastal paddling\, with beach landings for some CPs (check points).\n15km\, 2 hours. Only paddling and safety kit. Racers must have a leash for their paddle\, and wear bright clothing\, lumo lifejacket qualifies as bright.\n\n\nLeg 2 – Trail Running and navigation\, taking in Lions Head and an ascent up Table Mountain\,\nincluding an extreme 112m Abseil (no experience needed\, equipment and instructor supplied).\n20km\, 4 to 5 hours.\n\nLeg 3 – Mountain Biking\, a mixture of gnarly and jeep track\, 30km\, 3hours.\n\nLeg 4 – continues if you make cut-off!\n\n\n\n\n\nA multi-sport race that suits fit athletes\, with a keen sense of adventure.\n\nEntry Fee: Teams of 4 = R3000      ; Teams of 2 = 1500\n\n\n\n\nDisciplines: \nTrekking/ trail running\nMountain Biking\nAbseiling\nOcean Paddling\nNavigation \nSeconds are compulsory: \nThey will be driving your equipment ahead to your transition points in preparation for the next leg. DESCRIPTION:2014 PAR Results and Photos Here \nFollowing the wonderfully tough\, Peninsula Adventure Race\, in Nov 2014\nEnergy Events psycho route designers have moved this year’s fun\nto the greater Franschhoek wilderness area – BIGGER mountains\, more REMOTE\,\nMORE wine farms and still close to Cape Town.\n\n\nA 3rd category for the Franschhoek Adventure Race has been added –\n50km Peanuts – a navigation challenge. Starts at 8am\, you have 4 hours\nto locate as many CPs (checkpoints) as you can\, using mountain bike and\ntrail running skills. R250 a head.
