This is a tough event for Cederberg and Mountain lovers. For the discerning trail runner who enjoys adventure and wilderness.
You need to be self-sufficient, there is no pampering other than of endless panoramic views.
A skyline trail around the amphitheater of the Kromrivier Valley. The highest point of the trail is Donkerkloof Peak is at 1750 metres. Looking north you can see Sneeuberg, the highest summit in the Cederberg.The route traverses 6 Peaks, and each must be reached within a Cut off time, or you will be short coursed down the Valley.
But, we are generous and if you can hike fast, maintaining a reasonable tempo, you will enjoy a thrilling day out.
The total distance is 44km, and the elevation gain a very pleasant 2100m – we start at 1000m, at Kromrivier Farm.

You should arrive at Kromrivier after lunchtime on Friday. Registration with Wine tasting, Beer tasting from 4pm, Dinner served from 6pm, Compulsory briefing with final Route instructions at 7pm.

Overall cut-off 6pm
Finishers Feast served from 6:30pm.

Sunday, Breakfast:
Enjoy a Photo slideshow of race day as you enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast at the Cederberg Park restaurant, Die Slee from 8 to 10am.
Camping Includes own hot shower and toilet. Sleeps Max 8 campers per site. Min 2 nights.
