The Cederberg Traverse – 2 weeks to go!

“The route was absolutely out of this world….every section as spectacular as it was tough” – Karoline Hanks, 2016

Expect to be tested physically but most of all mentally. This is a tough 100Ks of pure wilderness adventure.

Cederberg Traverse Night Marathon Route Description 2018 – Running with the stars!

You are well on your way into Cederberg Wilderness. Sections of the trail are exposed, you need to stay focused. At 10km there is a respite from the climbing, with 2 km of gentle flat and descent, with a stream crossing. All mountain water is drinkable, use this opportunity!

Instead of descending the standard hiking trail to Sanddrif, you are the Guinea Pig for a never before run section – The Pup, Sugarloaf and Dwarsrivierberg Trail – a vicious sting in the tail.” –  Full description here
