A family outing at it’s best!!
A scenic National Parks Nature Run, mostly on the tar roads of the reserve. It is not a trail run and not timed by WPA.
Starting in the middle of the Reserve, the route swings past the south western tip of the continent at the Cape of Good Hope, via curious ostriches and eager baboons, through acres of indigenous fynbos and ends at the lawned, beach area of Buffelsbaai, in the tidal pool.
You can choose from the new 35km event, or the standard 24km and 11/13km races. The 5km fun run, is a mostly a trail run and can be hiked as a very pleasant walk with young children. It ends on the beach at Buffels bay – the Race Finish zone. This event does not supply medals.
